IRO IRO

B/W Coat

12,000

IRO IRO explores indigenous weaving technique ‘chauppad’ which has been interpreted in this long coat for a modern day audience. The coat features intricate zero-waste fabric on the outer shell with a curated banana leaf on the back made from extra weft technique. The inner shell is made from rainwater-fed kala cotton.

Delivery Window: Within 2 weeks once an order has been placed. We would love to exchange another size for it. Please send us the piece back and let us know your measurements

We collect offcuts waste from garment factories. All these offcuts have been cut into tiny scraps and tediously sewn back together to form a liner yarn. This liner yarn is then hand-woven into our fabric. This process is time-consuming and difficult but it is as beautifully unique as it is kind to the planet.
The piece may not look exactly like the image but the overall look and feel of the piece are not changed.
It has been uniquely made and designed for you.
